Los Ágaves is located under the village of Puntagorda, in a quiet agricultural area. The house is easily accessible.
In a few minutes you can drive up to the centre of the village with shops and various restaurants.
But if you like to go eating out, you can walk. The way back is downhill, a lovely walk after a good meal.
The view over the ocean and the area area is stunning.
During dark nights you notice that we live in a galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy. Enjoy the stars and satellites.
The cottage itself is comfortable.
There is a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Cooking is possible on the 4-burner stove and there are a microwave and a large double door fridge, cooking utensils and crockery.
But if you prefer to live outside? Behind the house is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ, countertop and a large table.
The beds in the two bedrooms in the house are equipped with good mattresses and the bathroom has a shower.
A third bedroom is in the cave. Especially in the summer it is very cool to sleep. And in winter it is cosy and comfortable.
The swimming pool stays filled and maintained throughout the year. There is a spacious sun terrace around the pool and there is a wide sea view.
Behind the pool live the hens. The girls do their very best to provide as much as possible fresh eggs.
There are various fruit trees, fruit from your own garden, a delightful luxury.
In the warm summer months you can sit under the palm tree or under the pine trees. The land around Los Ágaves has many possibilities to sit and relax.
And also the rental car has its own place next to the house.

Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce like wine, cheese, meat, cakes, fruit and vegetables and nice presents to take home.
In the village center near the clock is an interesting tourist information office.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers.
There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
Higher in the mountains are the vineyards of the Traviesa and the Vega Norte wines.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean. From here you have a breath taking view along the coast up to the South.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.

What our guests wrote……
Muchas gracias Carmen y Luis.
We really enjoyed our stay: the house, the garden, the hens and fresh eggs, the pool, all perfect!
It has been very hot and sunny, very different to the weather in England.
Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing Los Ágaves and La Palma.
Gracias por todo.
We didn’t walk as much as we expected because of the heat, but it was easy to pass the time just enjoying the beautiful island.
